This is a really interesting ride going through two long (chilly) former railway tunnels that are part of the 244 route.

Just past this folly, you turn left towards Monkton Combe and join the tow path of the Kennet and Avon canal near the canal bridge. The canal takes you back into Bath, emerging on Beckford Road quite close to the Holburne Museum.
